Language Sprout Learning Center was founded on the belief that apart from unconditional love, the greatest gift you can give your child is a good education. In our ever shrinking global society, part of a good education is an understanding of cultural differences and language. Here at LSLC, it is our mission to provide quality children’s language instruction along with cultural activities. We take care to not only provide language skills but also teach language in the context of cultural histories and customs— all in a comfortable environment.
LSLC currently offers children’s classes in both Spanish and Mandarin Chinese. Each class is taught through immersion in a hands on manner with native speakers or qualified fluent speakers. Our curriculum emphasizes repetition of words for the Creepers and Toddlers classes and a structured lesson plan for grade school children. Written language is also emphasized for older children. The classes that are offered range from half day preschool classes to after school and weekend sessions.
Why Are We Different?
While language is best acquired in youth, maintenance is required for fluency. Unlike other schools LSLC offers language classes for all ages including families. Classes begin at infancy and continue through adulthood. With Parent Classes, summer camps, and field trips, we will stick with you through the entire process. We do not just serve preschoolers, elementary schoolers, or adults, we are a learning center for the entire family.
We understand that having class one hour a week will not make your child a fluent speaker. But, the learning should not end when class ends, we provide at home materials, book-fairs, and community events to augment your family's study. It is our goal to provide a strong base for your family's commitment to foreign language study. We look forward to meeting you and helping your family sow the seeds of language as they grow.
